• Planned and facilitated formal educational sessions on vaping to five classes of about 30 students to assess and improve their knowledge of healthy behavioral practices.
• Collaborated with Massachusetts department of Public health to discourage use of e- cigarettes by developing an anti-vaping toolkit to high schools in Connecticut.
• Conducted research projects to Identify trends related to population health using the Student health custom survey to about 1400 randomly selected students.
• Assisted with writing grant proposals to get funding for initiatives such as condom owl, promoting safe sex practices of students.

• Conducted literature review on the association between the use of e-cigarettes and impaired lung function of young adults. Results showed a positive association.
• Analysis of the student health survey using SPSS, to assess the health status of participants. A significant relationship was found between e-cigarette use and addictive health behaviors, like the use of marijuana, alcohol, and cigarettes.
• Collaborated with the city of Stratford health department to conduct needs assessment of residents of the community. Results were implemented in developing health promotion projects to address identified needs.
