KRISTOPHER LOVE
MSN, FNP-C
Driven nursing professional with over five years' experience in hospice, acute/critical care, and corrections. I worked in a Level 3 Trauma center in a rural critical care access hospital. I also worked in a critical care float pool. I was trained to work in ICU but I also got experience working on the Tele Unit, Ortho Unit, Onc Unit, Med Surg, and Rehab Unit. I transitioned into corrections where I had to enhance my assessment skills due to lack of in house interventions. Now as a Nurse Practitioner I see patients with both acute and chronic issues. The prison environment functions as a primary care, urgent care, and emergency department all in one. I pride myself in having excellent communication skill with both staff and patients. I am driven to provide the upmost care possible. I constantly strive to enhance my education through my colleagues and continuing education. My work experience has provided me the opportunity of becoming fluent in both acute and chronic care disease management.
