I have a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Ryerson University. Over the course of my career as a registered nurse I have continued to grow and continuously desire to challenge myself. I have worked in the ICU for 4 years where I have applied advanced scientific knowledge. Working in this environment has allowed me to learn excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Through my experience, I am confident in my knowledge of the health care system, and the associated decision makers.
In the last 2 years I have worked on my own business developing a company that will eventually sell copper infused scrub uniforms for health care workers called Copper Medical Inc. I have developed many skills as a founder of a company by way of wearing many hats including but not limited to public speaking, project management, communication skills, pitching, problem solving, creating, marketing, market analysis, etc.
