I am a highly motivated Masters student with strong research, communication, writing, interpersonal, and teamwork skills that I have developed through my studies, work, and extensive volunteering experience. • Researched and wrote background material on energy access in rural Nepal

• A nonprofit with the specific missions of restoring a sense of normalcy and providing aid with dignity that had delivered humanitarian aid in Greece, Cyprus, Bangladesh and Mexico

• Personally involved in resource distribution and management in six different camps in Greece over three years, totaling over three thousand residents from twenty different countries

• Deputy camp coordinator in Katsikas Refugee camp, responsible for representing Refugee Support on camp, ensuring the well-being of residents and managing camp Katsikas alongside with Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund

• Responsible for ordering and restocking items for the food shop weekly, daily food distribution, weekly clothes distribution, warehouse management, preparing and running the “supermarket” and clothes boutique, camp construction, community garden maintenance

o Assisted in residents led Arabic lessons, taught bi-weekly English lessons, led women’s hour dedicated to women empowerment in a male dominated camp, ensured the psychological well-being of newly arrived residents are noted by the medical team

o Collected data, and compiled a geographical database for over 1000 residents on camp that is used for new residents’ registration, monitoring the high turnover rate of cabins changes, locating residents’ newest address

o In charge of registering new residents on the database o Participated in monthly visits to the remote Doliana and LM Village Camps to distribute food and childcare, hygiene and health care products

• Corresponded with United Nations High Commissions of Refugees and local Greek government regarding registering and caring for the new arrivals in Katsikas camp, providing them with statistics on mobility and demographics within camp

• Increased interaction between Katsikas camp residents and local Greek communities, assisted in asylum seeking process, provided refugees and asylum seekers care as their first destination in Europe, helped residents reconciling the cultural differences between Western societies and their own SKILLS
