To manage the cost and commercial matters relating to the Projects including Budget preparation and Estimation, Tender analysis, Contractors’ recommendation, contracts agreement execution, change management system, Cost reports, Commercial closure of accounts in coordination with contractors, suppliers, consultants and to protect the interest of the Client by monitoring, controlling and mitigating any cost & commercial related risks.
Managed different Hospitality (F&B Units- Café Nero, More Café, Armani Café, Serendipity, Ocean Baskets etc.), Retail (Fashion, Lifestyle & Home Brands) & Department stores (Bloomingdale & Harvey Nicole) commercial activities including new stores and refurbishment projects.
Review and monitor the Project Cost Management plan which defines the processes involved in planning, budgeting and controlling/ monitoring costs, 2
including determining the bench mark for budgeting, the format of various costs reports and various techniques such as value engineering etc.
Examine the tender thoroughly to accurately determine the quantity and specifications of the materials required so as to prepare of bill of quantity.
Coordinate and clarify with the bidders regarding the scope of works in accordance with Bill of Quantity.
Prepare a cost comparison report from all the bids received and discuss it with the Commercial Manager by recommending options.
Evaluation of valuation report of the job to keep track of the percentage of job completed against each item so as to control the deadline and take corrective action if some portion of the job is falling behind schedule.
Preparation of detailed quantification and estimates of projects being executed.
Evaluation, verification and checking of all variations and claims from contractor.
Monitor review and check billing of payments from the contractors and suppliers.
Float, receive and evaluate the enquiry for the sub-contractor items prepare a detailed comparison quality of items, price quoted by them for the perusal and approval of Head of Projects.
Evaluation and recommendation of payment settlement once job is completed and issuance of payment certificate for the final bill.
Cost monitoring against approved Budget.
Prepares & tracks procurement of all long-lead items and coordinate the schedule as per site requirements.
