Job description
Check all cash,credit card and vouchers receipts and ensure that the amounts that are returned from the retail outlets are in agreement with the end of shift declaration/reports and audit roll
Control petty cash and change floats and record all movements of the same Check all receipts ensuring that all are properly recorded and lodged and that credit card payments are forwarded for collection
Control and record movements of cash floats in acceptable currencies Ensure that the end of a shift that the POS readings are taken in accordance with company policy
Ensure that end of shift documentation is being properly completed and to report discrepancies to Manager Finance/ Cash Coordinator Record all cash over/shorts and report these to Manager Finance/Cash Coordinator Maintain a log of the transaction number sequences on the e-reports for each register and notify to IT Manager immediately of any breaks in sequence numbers Ensure that the highest level of confidentiality with regards to all company documents
Reports promptly any discrepancies in physical cash amounts compared to cash office records
