Assistant Project Manager

Manage the coordination between our MEP and R/S (Ride and Show) interface as it pertains to our MCC rooms, equipment layout and maintain the specs required by the vendor and code compliance. Identify discrepancies between design intent and construction drawings. Participate in on-going meetings with management, consultants and vendors to ensure that critical milestone issues are being addressed.

Actively participate in the development and update of an integrated master schedule for the project and work to identify approaching risks and opportunities associated with critical path method analysis.

Manage and maintain RFI (Request for Information) log between the GC, A&E and Universal.

Develop the layout to satisfy the internal and external client needs for placement of all DAS (Distributed Antenna System) and WAPs (Wireless Access Points) within the land in order to maintain the best creative intent, while still meeting the requirements of the design and engineering team. Maintain alignment with China Tower and the Network team to ensure that all needs are being met.

Manage the needs for the PSER/EER placement and equipment needs, coordinating with PW/AV/CM/SV/E/SL+TL (Park-Wide Network, Audio Visual, Communication, Surveillance, Electrical, Show and Themed Lighting team members) internal and external, as it pertains to Chinese code while safeguarding the Universal requirements.

Coordinates with other department coordinators as required to ensure full information integration within the entire project team and reviews all project status data as received from the Responsible Individuals (RIs) in order to report status updates to Project Management on an on-going basis.

Work in alignment with Finance to ensure accurate commitment of project expenditures in order to administer invoices and payments according to contractual obligations. Review detailed invoices with RI and ensure timely and accurate processing.

Converted Facility Input reporting to SmartSheet in order to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the project documentation process which is critical. Maintain an open line of communication with our LDI and IDF and request updated lay-outs to ensure that UO red-lines and calculations are being addressed and captured in the drawings moving forward.

Manage and track the projects overall GFA (Gross Floor Area), Function number allocation and ensure the program requirements are met, but not exceed without justification and/or approval. Cross-reference calculations by administering BlueBeam area take-offs to ensure alignment (if there’s a variance, ample detailed justification must be provided by IDF).

Track and manage the Deliverable Log and Bluebeam Comment Log with UD, JV, LDI and IDF. Align with RI’s to circle back with pertinent disciplines to capture the call-outs and ensure that the plans are being addressed and modified in a timely manner prior to next milestone.

Coordinate and align the projects overall Agenda’s for Bluebeam Reviews, MEP meetings and any A&E issues as they arise.

Assist with any FOH/BOH (Front of House/Back of House) Theme Park tours access with internal and external team members in order to gain better understanding of engineering design solutions, theming and requirements.

Project Controls Manager

Responsible for overseeing all stages of deployments for the Telecom division (UPS, Generators, HVAC and site maintenance) interactions with the GCs and subcontractors and serve as a liaison between the general contractors and the client. Worked closely with the Client and Project Management team to ensure accurate design and construction throughout the site developments.

Asses all personnel and evaluate the business current platform as well as all Clients and Contracts currently active for the Operations, Construction and Telecom Divisions.

This creates a sense of ownership and most of all accountability for both the coordinators and the contractors.

Project Controls Manager

Oversee all Financial Operations for AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, General Dynamics, MasTec and USCellular.

Lead the Project Coordinators team from all aspects of the wireless project build (LTE, UMTS, NSB, Power Plant and/ or Degrows), close-outs and financial tracking.

Create and organize a Close-Out Reports and Dashboards to assist the PMs with a quick glance as to where they stand with the customers required documentation and timeline. This ensures we have a successful build plan.

Assist in the quarterly Budget Presentations for the Corp Executive Meeting for all wireless customers. Coordinate with CFO to ensure all Accounts are properly captured and prepared for Financial Overview.

Decipher PIM testing for LTE projects and submit for close-out review to AT&T. Assist with overall DAS BOMs build-outs and close-outs for all Florida based projects.

Nsoro, MasTec LLC, Maitland, FL 10/2007- 06/2010

Project Controls Lead

Managed the UMTS 1st through 4th carrier modification deployments throughout Florida for AT&T.

Coach and Train all new hires for UMTS on Oracle, Sitera, NORAD and reporting tools to ensure a successful partnership. Lead the UMTS Project Coordinators for the 1st through 4th Carrier management tracking for the 2007-2010 Build Plan from AT&T.

Main point of contact for all New Site Builds w/AT&T’s real-estate team and Site Acquisitions and provide the BOMs (Build Order or Magnitude) for all TurnKey projects with Powerwave and Andrews. Handling all correspondence between general contractor, owner, architect, and subcontractors job requirements.

Perform financial management and cost control reporting for projects and assist with MasTec’s financial acquisition with Nsoro to ensure all project budgets were properly allocated and accounted for. Main point of contact throughout reconciliation of legacy projects to bring to a close as needed. Site audits for quality build and ensure accurate Site Surveys in order to asses proper Site Modifications as needed.

Lead the financial reconciliation meeting with the AT&T Implementation group in 2007-2008 and financially account for all funds and project completions.
