JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Establish main control stations at commencement of project and ensure checks are carried out every week to check the integrity and accuracy of those stations.

Surveys: Topographical survey, Travers, Layout of structure works, Grid line works for Pipelines, Design works for Manifold, Isometrics drawings.

Controlling & Supervising the quality and workmanship according to the approved drawings and specification.

Provide all setting out lines and levels as required to perform the works.

Maintain records where required, i.e. as built, level surveyors etc.

Maintain an understanding of the program to ensure that various surveying tasks are carried out in enough time to avoid delays.

Notify setting out mistakes as soon as they become apparent to allow early corrective action to be taken.

Preparation of Weekly and fortnightly progress reports.

Preparing Data in AutoCAD for site layout, Layout of Road, Bridge, Building, foundation and columns according to drawing.

Horizontal & Vertical traversing to fix new control points & benchmark, stake out points of foundation, columns footings, Grade Beams, Retaining wall and roof slabs per coordination.

Responsible to check the layout and levels as per drawings, calculate all the level and coordinates for site work.

Encourage and guide Junior Surveyors and Chainman to help future development.

Good Knowledge in Steel Structure, Space Frame and Anchor Bolts work.

Coordinate with consultant’s Surveyor on work priorities and schedules.

Report discrepancies or technical problems.

Maintain equipment in proper condition and perform frequent calibration checks.

Download and process data using software for as built drawing. ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE civil)- Attested from UAE Embassy

• Matriculation

LANGUAGE & COMPUTING SKILLS

Fluent and proficient in spoken and written English, Arabic & Urdu.

Excellent operating skills of Microsoft Office. (MS Word, MS Power Point, MS Excel)

Exposure to AutoCAD 2015.

Conversant with all Survey Equipment.
