Present Position

Working as Senior Programme Manager at Krishnakriti Foundation and Hyderbad Walks from March 2018 till date, Hyderbad

Responsibilities

1) Coordinating with all inter city schools for Hyderabad Walks to different heritage walks and outreach programmes .

2) Conducting heritage based walks and workshops in Hyderabad for different age groups of students and individuals.

3) Organizing Museum Internship programme with Salar Jung Museum for senior classes (IX TO XII) of school in Hyderabad.

4) Organizing various theatre based workshop, art based workshop, teacher’s interactive sessions, lecture series and Krishnakriti Festival of 2019 and 2020. Previous Engagement

• Worked as a walk director at Gwalior with almost 200 students at 5 different monuments and heritage spaces.

• Teachers Training with almost 25 teachers group for 4 different school.

• Coordinating and Team head for the Poster making competition collaborated efforts by ASI and ITIHAAS for World Heritage Day 2017 at Safdarjung tomb in Delhi and Residency in Lucknow.

• Handling Internship programs in 3 museums in Delhi Election Museum, The National Gandhi Museum and National Museum with the batch of 25 - 40 students of various schools.

List of Specific Programmes Conducted for Krishnakriti Foundation and Hyderbad Walks 2018- 2019( Senior Programme Manager in Krishnakriti Foundation) I have designed three heritage tours in Hyderabad for the initiative called Hyderabad Walks.

• Treasures of Salar Jung(at Salar Jung Museum) : This museum trail was designed for all the age groups focusing on some of the unique, attractive, expensive and rare collection of artifacts in Salar Jung Museum.

• Qutb-ul- Mulk Ki kahani(at Qutb Shahi Tombs): This study tour is specially designed for students of middle and high school students to understand the history Qutb Shahi dynasty, their contribution to the city and creating an outdoor learning spaces for students to gain more knowledge about natural and architectural heritage of the tomb complex.

• Haveli Khadeem(at HEH The Nizam’s Museum): This museum tour focuses on silver replicas of the architectural marvel of Hyderabad during Nizam VII reign and anecdotal information of Purani Haveli and its tehzeeb(culture). IFA- Krishnakriti Foundation collaborative exhibition Mapping Dewan Deodi and Block by Block

This was a researched based project carried out by two fellow of IFA heritage fellowship 2018 in the old city of Hyderabad specifically in Dewan Deodi. I had worked with one of the IFA fellow(Ms. Sirisha Indukuri) to put up the archival photo and old Munn maps exhibition, reconnaissance of the space, Heritage toursfor students of schools and art colleges, venue permission from Mukarram Jah Trust and logistic arrangements at Purani Haveli ka Darwaza. Students Outreach Programme- at Purani Haveli Ka Darwaza Two day exhibition tour with Mukarram Jah school

This was a two day programme at Purani Haveli ka Darwaza with senior students of Mukarram Jah school to understand and study the archival and contemporary photo of Dewan Deodi and an interactive game(Puzzle ) to re-visit the history of Hyderabad. Heritage tour and workshop with students of Crescent school Senior students of Crescent school were engaged with Krishnakriti Foundation team. To study Dewan Deodi through an interactive session in school and heritage tour around Dewan Deodi complex.

Anne Frank: A History for Today(photo exhibition) : This is a project that consists of an international travelling exhibition and related workshops and activities and is a part of the educational activities run by the Anne Frank House, The Netherlands and in collaboration with Seagull Foundation. I had coordinated with the school, assisted Ms. Megha Malhotra (from Sea Gull Foundation) with orientation, group activities, and other logistic and permission management for students .

Krishnakriti Festival 2019

Travelling Exhibition ( in collaboration with Rajan School of Photography and Kalakriti Archive): This was a photo exhibition based on archival print of old Hyderabad important and notable structures constructed during the reign of Nizam VII which was displayed in Prince Esin Women’s Educational Center. I supervised and conducted a brief gallery tour of all the archival photos of Hyderabad Palaces and important buildings the exhibition

Capacity Building Workshop: Darwaza(A productive hobby in art and crafts):It was a two day process of involving college students to observing, adapting and re creating the designs from the inspiration of natural and architectural beauty of Zannana Mahal. There were 80 participants for this workshop session.This workshop was conducted by Ms. Shruti Mahajan and I assisted her with the process. 2019- 2020( Senior Programme Manager in Krishnakriti Foundation) I have designed two ne heritage walks in Hyderbad for Hyderbad Walks

• Museum walk at State Archeology museum on World Heritage day (18th April) Museum trial based on understanding the forms, styles, art, asthetic and material used during Vijay Nagar Empire for making pots, bronze statues, domestic used vessels and rare Ajanta painting.

• Makers and Mening heritage walk at Charminar

Heritage tour in the vicinity of Charminar to explore the dying profession and urban craft of Hyderbad and deccan which were part of Deccan culture from the Qutub Shahi period. To interact with craftsmen like lac bangals, birdi vessel making, silver warq, baking system in Irani café and Dawasaz shop.

Heritage Marathon at Qutub Shahi Tomb: This was a heritage programme organized by Hyderbad Walks in collaboration with Glendale Academy on 31st September 2020 at Qutub Shahi complex.

This programme had participantion of 1800 students 200 teachers and parents. Heritage marathon started from Golconda Fort to Shaikhpet Gold course to Qutub Shahi tombs, it was concluded with a heritage oath with State Archeology department officials and incharge.

Krishnakriti Festival 2020

Everthing Moves: It was week - long theatre workshop with an experts of documentary theatre Ms. Anuja Ghoshalkar. This workshop was part of Makers and Meaning 17th edition of Krishnakriti festival were the students of Focus High school participated in the workshop to know their own stories around Hyderabad with the used on unique archival photos from the Kalakriti Archives collectives. Other Engagements

• Created a Heritage Walk related survey form for school, Department of State Archaeology& Museums and cooperate companies.

• Writing proposal for heritage walks for College students, Government officials and Foreign Delegates.
