The Office of the Secretary (OS) plays a central role in ensuring the processing of Commission business. Office staff, among other things, review the legal and factual sufficiency of all SEC documents submitted to and approved by the Commission: schedule Commission meetings and ensure they are conducted in accordance with the Government in the Sunshine Act; maintain records of official Commission actions; and provide public notice of those actions on the SEC.gov website & the Federal Register .Responsibilities If selected, you will report directly to the Branch Chief who oversees the office's Commission Actions Monitoring team and the Rulemaking, Regulatory and Federal Register team.
