JOB DESCRIPTION

•Functional test, maintenance and repair of medical equipments under the assigneddepartment.

•Supervise the installation of new equipments by the company as per the requirednorms.

•Ensure all medical equipment in the assigned dept. is closely monitored for PPM and calibration and perform when it is required.

•Supervise commissioning of new medicalequipments.

•Conduct daily rounds to assigned departments and criticalequipments.

•Ensure that breakdown calls is attended with minimum downtime.

•Prepare technical specifications of accessories and spareparts.

•To facilitate new equipment training for biomedical staff and equipmentusers.

•To attend on call or emergency breakdowncalls.

•Reports to Senior Biomedical Engineer about equipments life and expectancy and update required in the assignedarea.

•Keep in contact with vendors to get proper and timely technical support ofequipments.

•Ensure that department policies are implemented properly for for improving the overallquality.

•Any job assigned by Senior BiomedicalEngineer/H.O.D

•Carryout all works in accordance with NABH policies.

PROJECT WORK

Title : Semi automatic saline flow detection system

This is an automatic saline flow control and monitoring system based on embedded system. Thesystem incorporates components for IV control andmonitoring.

TECHNICAL SEMINAR

Title : Detection of cancer cell with light wave propagation in optical bio-sensor

In the present work a novel Photonic crystal based biosensor has been designed, modeled and simulated for detection of cancer cells by testing the blood samples. The change in refractive index is captured by the photonic biosensor.
