I work at Diablo Canyon Power Plant installing and uninstalling power operated valves during outage. Performing valve inspections, maintenance, repairs, valve test and calibrations using hand tools, power tools and hydraulic tools. I worked on scaffolds, metal grade and from heights. I am competent reading work orders containing maps, diagrams and measurements in stressful environments. All of my responsibilities and work are carried out following Nuclear Reactor Commission and PG&E safety procedures which is intense because of the many work hazards which are nuclear exposure, confined space, fall hazards, crushing equipment, loud equipment, remote location, ect... This work is dangerous and focus to safety is critical at all times. I worked 72 hr. a week including weekends and nights. I work in a labor intense environment /Nuclear work and I moved to work at the power plant, so I am willing to travel.

Being a power pathway graduate I’ve obtain skills, knowledge, training and development for the next generation of utility worker. Worked within a team executing all requirements for the evaluation, coordination and operation of constructing billboard signs.
