CENTRAL NEWS INTERN, VOICE OF AMERICA — WASHINGTON, D.C. As a Central News intern at Voice of America, I worked with the team on two different documentary series entitled The Damage Done: Living America's Opioid Nightmare and Climbing the Hill. For the team, I transcribed interviews, helped to formulate the narrative of the episodes by piecing the script together, logged footage in Avid Media Com- poser, edited one-minute preview videos for social media, justified scripts, provided necessary advice during the edit- ing process and weighed in on team meetings. Additionally, I researched, read and managed social media platforms forVOA’s Press Freedom, a multimedia project covering issues of press freedom worldwide. Jan. 2019 - May 2019
ASSOCIATE PRODUCER, BUFFS SPORTS LIVE (BSL) — BOULDER, CO As a journalist for Buff Sports Live, a student produced and directed live sportscast, I regularly assumed the roles of field reporter, news anchor, and producer. This included completing same day packages to be broadcast during the live newscast, conducting on-camera interviews, and seeing news packages beginning to end. As an anchor for the show, I wrote and reported on CU sports. As a producer, I wrote shows for 15 minute broadcasts regularly. BSL airs on the campus Livestream and Fox College Sports each week. NEWSROOM INTERN, DAILY CAMERA — BOULDER, CO
As an intern for the Daily Camera, I worked on Fridays and Saturdays as a weekend reporter. This entailed covering a variety of local events and writing news stories on a deadline. The process included pitching story ideas, interviewing sources (either on the phone or in person), transcribing interviews, and handling press releases. Several stories were featured as the front page centerpiece of the Sunday newspaper. May 2019 - Aug. 2019
SHOW HOST, DJ, AND PRODUCER, RADIO 1190 — BOULDER, CO At Radio 1190, CU's campus radio station, I produced and co-hosted an hour-long radio show, called Ben and the Men at Ten, on Wednesdays of every school week alongside my two co-hosts. The show's content varied week to week, always including various talk and music segments.

POLITICAL INTERN, 9NEWS — DENVER, CO
As a political intern for 9News, I worked in the newsroom with the digital team, producers, reporters, and anchors to pitch, cover, report on, and produce political content, which resulted in several published web stories and stories that were read on-air. I worked with the station’s Next with Kyle Clark team to supplement the political coverage on the show. I covered events surrounding and leading up to the 2020 presidential election, including the rallies of former presidential candidates Amy Klobuchar and Elizabeth Warren. I conducted interviews in person and over the phone over the course of my internship. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, I researched and wrote for the station remotely on the matter.
