o Very good experience in pre-contract MEP services: feasibilities, tender evaluation, cost planning and estimating, analysis, negotiations with suppliers/ sub-contractors and recommendations, meeting client requirement by providing quality products, peer reviews, cost data-base update, Bill of Quantity preparation, value engineering, risk management etc. o Very good experience in MEP procurement: review of procurement program/ schedules, RFQ preparation, comparison, supplier selection to ensure competence and compliance with the scope/ scale of the contract etc.
o Very good experience in post-contract MEP services: commercial management of contract, interim valuations and payment certificates, variation analysis, recommendations and management, performing risk and value management and cost control functions, undertaking costs analysis project work, identifying, analyzing and developing responses to commercial risks, compilation of detailed progress/ cost reports, weekly and monthly reporting to client representative on all technical/commercial issues, commercial meetings, understanding the implications of health and safety regulations etc. Work Experience

Duties and Responsibilities
o Careful review of tender documents to identify exact requirements/ identify potential issues and prepare a detailed take off and Bill of Quantities. o Send out enquiries, together with specifications/ appropriate drawings & follow-up, quotation analysis, comparison and selection for inclusion in priced tender and tender submission. o Carry out site visit (if required) & make all necessary notes, take appropriate photo, review information with the Contracts Manager and take account of findings in tender pricing. o Review procurement schedules with Contract Manager and liaise with Buyers for supply of materials and specialist requirements &send enquiries and/or tender packages to sub- contractors and suppliers for on time order placement. o Perform commercial and contractual analysis, schedule evaluation of bids and in cooperate technical evaluation from Engineering and Project control Dept. o Preparation of Bill Of Quantities (BOQ) with respect to the client/consultant/contractors requirement
o Select sub-contractors from approved list to ensure competence and compliance/ manage procurement of sub-contracts, labor only packages& suppliers. o Prepare and finalize the comparison statement and make recommendation for technical and commercially acceptable bid against budget and finalize the subcontractor/supplier. o Prepare and manage project budget costs, plant and labor budgets, assist in the preparation of reports for contract review meetings& prepare monthly cost reports. o Forecast costs within reports - project actual cost against planned costs to provide accurate forecasts with which to manage the project performance. o Prepare and submit monthly valuations, Interim Payment application, including all supporting information for materials on site, variations and measurements. o Preparation of EOT,Disruption and Acceleration claims. o Manage variations ensuring all additional works are correctly recorded in line with the contract, and adequate records are maintained to ensure full revenue recovery. o Prepare sub-contract documents to allow the appointment of subcontractors and pre-contract meetings to ensure sub-contractors are fully compliant. o Manage /measure sub-contract works, Check and approve sub-contractors claims for payment, Liaise with sub-contractors to resolve queries, Hold regular meetings with sub- contractors to review and agree progress and/or change the sub-contract and settlement of sub-contract final accounts.
