Graduate Mechanical Engineer having a 16 years’ experience in oil & gas, petrochemical plant, in the field of Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities. Excellent in Piping / Pipelines / Structural and Storage tanks inspection in various projects like Construction, Shutdown, Turnaround and Maintenance of Oil and Gas refineries, Petro-chemical, Water Treatment plant in India and Middle East.

Witness and review of NDT activities and reports & Monitoring NDE activities and attending repairs.

Reviewing PWHT charts (Heating and Cooling rate, Soaking temperature and time) and Hardness reports.

Walkthrough and QC Punch listing prior to hydro test. Witness Flushing and Cleaning of Piping system.

Gasket verification, Bolt torque tightness witnessing, High point & Low point checking. Verification of Calibration certificates for Pressure Gauges, Manifold and Relief Valve etc.

Providing technical information and guidance to subcontractor inspection personnel and enabling them to be pro-active on their respective area of concern.

Stage wise inspection of Pressure Vessel and storage tanks as per ITP.

Inspection of Pressure Vessel components i.e. Plates, Pipes & Piping components, Fasteners, Flanges, Pipe fittings, Strainers, Demister pads, Column internals & Packing materials and Special parts designed as per international codes and standards i.e. ASME Sec II, VIII div. I

Equipment receiving, storage and preservation, pre-installation, elevation/alignment, internal installation and tray leak testing, flange joint-gasket verification and bolt tightening and vessel closure inspection as per ITP.

Witness of material inspection, Leveling, Plumpness, Peaking and Banding, Roundness for tanks as per codes and company requirements.

Conducted periodical tool box meeting for welders, foreman and charge-hands for welding quality awareness.

Prepare non-conformance reports to the SQM and assist in developing corrective actions

Ensure closure of all RFI’s and related inspection/test records (ITRs) immediately after successful completion of each inspections

Immediately report any cost effecting inspection results to discipline leader and also highlight to engineering.

Perform Daily Surveillance at site and report findings to SQM. Participate in Quality Walkthroughs.
