Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain the safety of the patrons in and around the pool
Represent the office by maintaining a professional attitude
Communicating and enforce all regulations and pool rules in a personable and professional manner
Communicating any potentially dangerous elements of the facility to the aquatic’s coordinator
Participating in and help facilitate staff training
Performing patron surveillance with a rescue tube from guard stand
Remain alert and use all senses while guarding
Working as a team with other lifeguards during special events
Recording daily participation numbers and complete daily activity reports
Testing the water, recording result and reporting imbalances to the supervisor
Setting up the pool for various activities such as laps, classes, etc.
