New Aircraft Delivery, Sao Palo, Brazil
In the Winter of 2019, I was chosen by ExpressJet Airlines to travel to Sao Jose Dos Compos, Brazil (greater Sao Palo) to the Embraer Aircraft headquarters assist with importing/exporting a brand new order of Embraer 175 aircraft on behalf of United Airlines. The special assignment was to deliver new airplanes safely to the U.S. while performing safety checks and inspections alongside maintenance personnel. The trips included long haul flights from Brazil, Puerto Rico, and the United States.
United State Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD
In the summer of 2014, I was chosen as 1 of 5 civilian Instructor Pilots to be invited to teach a summer Powered Flight Program for rising seniors at the United States Naval Academy by government contract company, Trident Aircraft. Teaching and flying duties were coordinated in conjunction with active duty Navy Instructor Pilots. Duties included bridging the gap between reading about flying and doing it for the first time with Naval Academy Cadets until they reached program completion of the “First Unassisted Solo Flight”.
