Career Summary
On August 2011, the Measurement Studio
relocated to the Dubai office in UAE. Agustin
was responsible for ensuring that all MEP
measurement work is carried out in accordance
with the Team’s System of Best Practice. He is
experienced with Plumbing and Mechanical
Installations.
On November 2009, Agustin joined AECOM in
the Measurement Studio MEP cluster group.
During this time, He was responsible for the
preparation of tender documents and bills of
quantities, pre-contract documents and
preparation of cost plans for
mechanical/plumbing installations.
On October 2008, Agustin joined Faithful and
Gould, his role as an office/site-based quantity
surveyor involved the measurement of Bills of
Quantities, whilst also providing assistance in
preparation of Tender analysis and reports, the
preparation of monthly payment applications and
substantiation of variation claims.

On August 2006, Agustin moved to Middle East
with Gutmann Systems, His role as a quantity
surveyor involved him in the preparation of
monthly payment applications and substantiation
of variation claims, and estimation of material
analysis in preparation of Bills of Quantities.

Carrying out the cost of construction works
by methods such as tender rates, star rates,
new rates, build up rates, quotations or day
works. Substantial experience in
measurement using CAD Measure and BIM
Measure in preparation of cost plans, tender
documents (especially BQ’s), variations and

Assesses, negotiates, and agreed with the
Contractor the valuation of change to
Mechanical Works in Midfield Terminal
Complex (MTC), Abu Dhabi Airport Project.
Various knowledge in implementing change
control procedures with the contract.
Support and actively take part in team-wide

practices, such as providing input into the

Duties and responsibilities
Works with our Team Leader. Prior to the
commencement of any task, we effectively
plan their work, including the assessment of
man-hours and likely delivery dates,
including input/preparation of Project
Execution Plans.
Assists in downloading design information
and printing off drawings when required. If
necessary, Drawings are needed to be
converted to an approved format that is
compatible with our measurement software.
Carries out measurement work on a variety
of projects, recognizing the need to vary the
measurement strategy when measuring,
say, cost plans v BQ’s.
Drafts and prepares cost plans and BQ
descriptions which accurately covers the
scope of works.
Prepares measurement preambles as
necessary, to suit the project requirements.
Maintains performance data of each work
task and provide the same to their
respective Team Leaders.
Prepares query sheets/obtain design
clarifications from the design team.
Ensures compliance with all team protocols
particularly, our System of Best Practice (QA
process), making sure all work is self-
checked and of a high standard.
Assists in the preparation of Close Out
reports at project completion and ensure
archiving of all project information.
Supports and actively takes part in team-
