Responsibilities:
Prepared Placenta Samples in order to run different experiments that measure drug effects on pregnant women.
Laboratory works were as follow: RNA Extractions, PCR, MTT in vitro cell proliferation, and ELISA enzymes.
Worked on a project to examine the effects of environmental toxins (flame retardants, TBBPA, DEP, 246-TBP, Tributyltin, Bisphenol A) and its interference with thyroid hormone binding to cells of Placenta.
Worked on a project to study the effect of inhibitory effect of Sulforaphane on sFLT-1 which has an important role to trigger pre-eclampsia.
Worked on a project to study if certain food nutrition, such as Sulforaphane, Astaxanthin, have anti-inflammatory properties to inhibit the adverse effects of environmental toxins.
