Title: Eco-friendly Ductile Cementitious Composite with GGBS for retrofit of RC beams
Description: The ecofriendly ductile cementitious composite (EDCC) along with GGBS is used to retrofit the under reinforced concrete beams subjected to cracking by two-point loading condition. After retrofitting the beams are cured for 28-day strength they are subjected to mid-point & two-point loading conditions for the determination of ultimate load carrying capacity.

Title: Soil Stabilization using Copper Slag
Description: Use of waste materials in road construction has been in vogue in India for quite some time and copper slag is one of the waste materials that are being used extensively in the civil engineering construction industry. Since they are classified as a non-hazardous material by U.S. environmental protection agency regulations, it can be used for various geotechnical applications and thus experimental studies have been conducted for stabilizing the soil using copper slag.

EDCC is a newly developed repair material for seismic retrofitting & when the strain rate of a material goes from static to dynamic the EDCC is more sensitive to the fibre used compared to the corresponding tensile strength
