HR CO-OP, BENDIX COMMERCIAL VEHICLE SYSTEMS, HUNTINGTON, IN — 2019-2020
As the HR Co-Op, I worked directly with the region’s HR department to manage the following for all 500+ employees: wage increases, signing employees up for FMLA, running and managing the company’s in-house store (designing catalog, ordering merchandise, processing payments, etc), met with supervisors, attended salaried meetings, conducted in-person and phone interviews, lead orientation, managed all temp employees, ran end of month reports, and maintained all filing.
SALES INTERN, JOSTENS, HUNTINGTON, IN — 2019
During my internship with Jostens, I prepped and organized the products (gowns, caps, tassels, class rings, varsity jackets, etc...) for delivery, called customers about active accounts, added and terminated accounts, went on sales calls to schools, assisted with shipping and receiving, oversaw bookkeeping, and monitored and tracked income from sales. I also became familiar with navigating the Jostens' website and editing customer accounts.
MARKETING EXECUTIVE, SCORE NATIONWIDE BUSINESS MENTORING, HUNTINGTON IN, 2019
I partnered with SCORE to create a one year marketing plan for their new location in Huntington, IN. I also established a social media marketing plan (to be used for all SCORE locations nationwide) and a one-month initial marketing rollout for the company. I attended meetings with members of the Huntington Chamber of Commerce as well as Huntington's mayor at that time to go over proposals and the plans.
CUSTOMER SALES ASSOCIATE, LOWES HOME IMPROVEMENT, BARDSTOWN, KY — 2018
I would take over the phone and in person orders, process orders, worked specifically in appliances and plumbing departments, handled online transactions, pull and load large appliances, keep appliances clean and plumbing parts organized, open and close store, assist in paint department as well as lumber.

Interviewed, hired, and trained callers for Huntington University's fundraising program. I managed the callers on call nights as well as set up the call rooms and file/organize each night's earnings. Became proficient in excel, CARS, and collection calling.

Update items on the floor, organize and pull items from the back, keep the store stocked, assist customers at front register, photo department, and cosmetic department, open and close the store, clean facility, assist customers over the phone, train new employees, handle money, and learned how to apply coupons and discounts to orders.
