Projects at Capgemini, Pune:
1.Company name, location: Capgemini Japan, Deputed to Honda R & D Centre, Japan
Role: Guest Engineer (Aug 2018-May 2019)
Description of work:
Creation of RFLP for Under Cover, which was part of 3WPoC.
Similar Project were carried out with respect to Body_MDO
Tools used: No Magic-Cameo System Modeler, MS Excel
1D Simulation of the Active Suspension System – Tool used: AMESim.
2.Description of work: Worked on PoC for Process Industry
Created an MBSE template for the Heating/Drying solutions in Process Industry.
Took an example on drying solution where heating element was needed to be designed/selected based on the requirements.
RFLP (Requirement, Functional, Logical and Physical) layers were created in the 3D Experience (F & L Design) tool, and traceability between the layers were shown.
The 1D simulation model was built in the Dymola tool, which helps to simulate the model for different input and environmental conditions.
3.Worked on the PoC for Johnson & Johnson Medical Device.
The main work on the PoC was to capture the requirements, maintain the hierarchy for medical device, this was done in Cameo System Modeler a SysML tool.
Projects at ADA, Bengaluru:
1)Simulation and Testing of Hydraulic System and its components of Military Aircraft.
Tools: 3D Experience (Functional and Logical Design app)/Dymola, AMESim
Hydraulic System of Aircraft consists of components like Variable displacement pumps, Filters, Non-Return Valves, Shuttle Valve, Bootstrap Reservoir, HMDG (Hydraulic Motor Driven Generator), HMDFP (Hydraulic Motor Driven Fuel Pump), etc. All these components have been simulated for different input conditions in the 1D Simulation tool Dymola.
Simulation of sub-systems, systems for different input requirements/conditions in tool.
The above Component, Sub-systems, Systems were simulated in the Dymola tool for different test conditions, which is inbuilt in the RFLP structure of 3D Experience (F & L app).
Some of the above hydraulic system components were also simulated in AMESim tool.
2)1D Modeling and Dynamic Simulation of ECS.
Tools: EcosimPro.
The main objective of ECS dynamic simulation is to develop 1D system model and simulate the flight conditions in EcosimPro Software, and to verify with that of Fight test data.
This model will save lot of hours in rig testing and flight testing and will help in optimizing the ECS LRU’s.
Development of controller logic for the functioning (open/close) of the ECS valves.
Subsystems Simulation consisting of Bleed system, Cold Air Unit and Cabin & Avionics.
Finally, the integration of the Subsystems and simulate the flight conditions and validation.
3)Data Generation for the two phase and single-phase heat transfer coefficient.
Tools: MS Excel.
Two phase & single phase heat transfer analysis were carried out experimentally for different type of fin configuration in compact heat exchangers.
These exchangers were part of the Vapour Compression Refrigeration System (VCRS), with its application in Military aircrafts.
The collected data were analyzed for the two phase heat transfer coefficient and two phase heat transfer factor for lanced & offset fin and wavy fin.
4)Flight test data analysis of various versions of LCA, the flight test data which was collected in Excel sheets were analyzed for the behaviour of ECS LRU’s and ECS as a whole.
Academics:
M. Tech (Heat Power Engg.) at VNIT Nagpur (Formerly VRCE), from Aug 2007 to May 2009, securing 8.35 CPI.
B. E (Mechanical Engg.) at SDMCET Dharwad, from Sep 2002 to June 2006, securing 66.3%.
Activities:
Volunteer and Participation in "CHEW-15" a 2 day International Workshop on Compact Heat Exchangers held at PES University in Coordination with ADA, Dec 2015.
