As the Electrical Engineer at ROLENEST Engineering I have been charged with supervising and implementing a number of projects. These included:
Electrical refurbishment works for administration block at KEMI
Responsibilities in this project included:
Wiring lighting points in 1.5mm PVC insulated single core Copper wires drawn in 20mm heavy gauge PVC conduit concealed in the walls and ceilings, one way switched.
Supply and installation of 600mmx 600mm, 32W/6500K LED recessed panels.
Supply and installation of 36wx 1200mm twin LED fluorescent tubes fitting to replace existing Fluorescent tube light fittings
Supply and installation of 100x50mm 2 compartment white powder coated metal trucking factory fabricated complete with angles, bends, covers and face plates.
Tucking existing data cables into the trunking.
Installation of ceiling mounted projector and screen.
Electrical maintenance works at Absa
The responsibilities here included:
Design of electrical lighting circuit using AutoCAD.
Writing Bill of quantity for the project.
Installation of 50W LED floodlights using 2.5mm 3-core armored cables.
Installation of 20A lux sensor to automatically control the lighting circuit.
Troubleshooting and repair of the existing electrical lighting circuit.
