Project Controls / Planning & Scheduling

Interfaced with Engineering and Construction Disciplines in the development of Engineering, Design, Procurement,

Construction and Plant Outage Schedules i.e. Management, Summary, Milestone and Detail level. Developed and

Incorporated the project Work Breakdown Structure [WBS] for scheduled activities. Assigned schedule man-hour and

cost resources per the assigned [WBS] code structures. Provided the client with bi-weekly and monthly cost and schedule

reports i.e. Gantt Bar Charts, Critical Path Logic Diagrams and Resource Histograms as required. Monthly Reports

provided schedule progress, Cost and Schedule Performance Indexes, [CPI] and [SPI]. Theses Indexes determine the

activities scheduled, earned value for the scope of work planned. The extracted schedule data also provided a

benchmark for the evaluation and analysis of the current schedule progress and any variance against the approved

baseline scheduled completion.

In addition, analyzed schedule delays via Critical Path Method analysis [CPM]. Interfaced with Disciplines Leads to review

areas of deficiency i.e. vendor drawing submittals, design changes, procurement delays, staffing and schedule change

orders. Expedited equipment procured for adherence to the project contractual required at site delivery dates.

Coordinated Primavera [8.2] schedule integration with client representatives and subcontractors to review the adherence

to schedule guidelines and best practices i.e. WBS, Global and Project Codes, schedule logic integrity, defined schedule

progress reviews and update cycles. Also lead Primavera basic training sessions to assist existing and new Project

Managers with their transition from using Microsoft Project scheduling software to Primavera scheduling software.
