Work History:

2019-2020 Norton Orthopedic Institute Clinic Coordinator: As a clinic coordinator I would oversee and supervise the medical assistants. As well as handling any disgruntled patients. My day to day responsibilities included ordering supplies and checking inventory expiration dates on the supplies. Overseeing employee callouts. I would make the schedule for the MA’s in office. I would also Fill in for the medical assistant if needed. Interviewing new hires. Setting up attorney depositions and invoicing them out. In addition I was trained in infection prevention for Injection preparation. Sending Rx refills to physicians. Running kasper reports for controlled substances. 2012-May 2019 ProRehab Physical Therapy Team Lead/Admin and Care Coordinator: I oversaw 10 offices and would often interview new hires and set up all their onboarding paperwork and website portal info. I often sat in on 90 day reviews. My coworker and I shared training duties. We were also available to all front desk to answer daily questions. Billing issues, authorization questions and appeals. I also followed up on claim denials with insurance, workmans comp and motor vehicle. I prepared lien letters for attorney and patient signatures. I sent out all medical records request and logged them in a spreadsheet. Audited all front desk daily collections and percentages. These daily collections/ arrival and cancellation percentages were tracked in excel spreadsheets. I also tracked plan of cares and made sure to receive the referring physician's signature timely. Also tracked and obtained Physical Therapy orders for patients. I am experienced with outlook as that's who our email was through. I also Held zoom meetings weekly to discuss arrival and cancellation percentages and any updates regarding front desk procedures and Insurance changes or policy changes within the company.I was also the lead for EMG verifications and scheduling. Data entry is a huge part of this job as well. So I often performed chart audits on front desk staff. The audit consisted of personal information, insurance information and verification information. The copay and deductible amounts needed to be entered correctly to assure we are collecting the correct amounts as this is imperative for front desk floaters. I also floated and covered for front desk as needed. While working front desk I would schedule for 2 to 4 physical Therapists. I was also responsible for Insurance verification, Visit Authorization, Aging,Collections, Taking payments (old and new). Scheduling, Answering the phone, Running weekly stat reports.
