Magnetic Gear box: 2017
A 2 gears system (R & D project) made of magnets. The project used Weber theory in order to create a magnetic field to enhance the DC motor attached to the driving gear. It is a zero contact system and reduced stress and damages.
Planar Roof Truss Analysis: 2018
Comparing the energy method and ANSYS analysis in determining the deflection from the load with specific boundary conditions on a manufactured roof truss
Rube Goldberg Machine: 2018
3 groups must coordinate to turn on a light. A CVT motor was used to supply the power in which transferred into 5 different stages. SolidWorks and AutoCAD were used and the project was done in the reverse engineering laboratory.
Reverse Engineering: 2017
Applied reverse engineering on a starter motor with other 3 group members. The motor was opened to document, modeled and assemble the inner and outer parts in SolidWorks. Finally, the parts were put back together and tested the motor.
Gear box: 2016
4 gears system was modeled in SolidWorks in order to fit CVT transmission efficiently. Provide analytical and system integration support and technical input to the gear box & identify the improvement limitations.
