Responsibilities and Duties:

●To ensure that project construction activities are in compliance with the requirements of the Project Quality Management System, Contract Specifications and IFC Drawings.

●Ensure that the contractual quality requirements of projects are fully communicated to all the key personnel and their roles in fulfilling these requirements are fully understood.

●Responsible for reviewing contractor’s proposed source of materials and Materials Submittal for different of construction, concrete and bituminous mix design and supervision of all aspects concerning quality control of materials used during the execution of works to ensure compliance with the specification requirements.

●Review and Approval of the Contractor’s proposed materials and methods as delegated by the Project Manager.

●Preparation of Material Engineer’s Daily Diary.

●General oversight of the Contractor’s daily activities including works assignments, on-site performance and guidance on the supervision of the Contractor’s operations.

●Attend factory visits, suppliers plant inspection as required.

●Follow up testing and approvals from the relevant authorities.

●Review of Contractor’s testing requests and subsequent completed reports.

●Review and Approval of the Contractor’s Submissions as delegated by the Project Manager.

●Monitor and record inspection made as the Inspection Test plan and Contract specification and encourage the attainment of quality requirements.

●Attend site activities and ensure their compliance with QA/QC procedures and contract requirements.

●Closely monitor site activities, fully coordinate with PMC discipline engineers on a daily basis, issue NCR’s in case of non-compliance and report to Project Manager in case of shortage of skilled laborers and/or site supervision staff.

●Coordinate with all disciplines and Contractors for QA/QC issues.



Project 1: IBN Battuta Mall Hotel Expansion –by NAKHEEL Properties

Responsibilities and Duties:

Supervising contractor’s day-to-day works as per specifications and contract documents.

Review and Approval of Technical/Material/Shop drawing submittals from the Main Contractor.

Coordinating all the structural works with the MEP site team and troubleshooting.

Direct the Site Inspectors in their daily duties.

Monitor the progress of the work against the approved contractor program of works and advise the Resident Engineer of any issues.



Project: Park Ridge for Dubai Hills by EMAAR Properties

(2B+G+22 Residential and Commercial Building)

Responsibilities and Duties:

Checking of documents submitted by the Contractor such as work progress, daily progress report programs, Daily progress reports look ahead programs and monthly progress report.

Conducting site walk, and site meetings to obtain confirmation on problems, also offering expert advice to resolve issues arising on site.

Review and check method statements as well as technically for approval.

Coordinate with Design Department to resolve technical issues and clarification.

Responsibilities and Duties

Checking documents submitted by the Contractor such as work progress, daily progress report programs, and monthly progress report

Review and check material submittal / method statements / shop drawings /as built drawings and other submittals related to the structure discipline.

Coordinate with Project Manager and Design Department to resolve technical issues and clarification

Identify the defect and issue (NCR) Non Conformance Report and Site Instruction and follow - up for necessary remedial action and closing out.

Monitoring the site condition & managing quality control and site working Safety on regular basis.

Review and approval of Test report as per project specifications.

Coordinating with Interior Designer and incorporating to blend in with the architectural design.

Project consists of constructing of three towers for residential along with podium the tallest being 55 floors.

Project 5: Dubai Festival City by Al-Futtaim

Responsibilities and Duties

The Role was to manage/review the submissions covering RFI’s, Shop Drawings, material submittals, method statements, Test Reports and assist the Resident Engineer in attending all the Civil Related items. Arranging the site inspections, managing the site safety behalf of the consultant was also part of the role. Responsible for the Civil Supervision Team and reporting to the Resident Engineer.

Dubai Marina consists of 6 towers along with North South and central Podium, Cooling tower, Daycare Centre, Swimming pool, Retail mall, Car parking etc. Car park and podium consists of RCC Columns and Pre-cast planks with in-situ topping. External works consist of internal road works along with services such as water, electricity, irrigation, ETISALAT services, sewage and storm water etc. The tower consists of RCC Cores & composite columns, which extend up to 45 floors, and above that a peak area consists of structural steel trusses.

Responsibilities and Duties:

●Review shop drawings, and inspected, checked and witnesses all the civil activities such as reinforcement, slip form, climbing form, concrete repair, seal leaking cracks, expansion & construction joints.

●Routine site inspection, leading a team of civil inspectors and surveyor.

●Issuing site instruction and non-conformance report to improve the quality work
