As a recent graduate, I am highly motivated to work as an Environmental engineer in the field of water and waste water treatment. Considering the urgency of drinking water availability in our country at low cost I have done the project in MTech by using natural biomass to treat waste water.

Study of photocatalytic activity of Graphene-TiO2 composite for dye degradation of contaminated water.

(In this study, natural fibers were used to synthesize Graphene and later Graphene-TiO2 nanocomposite.Higher surface area, smaller size which helps in efficient exciton pair and green synthesis process make this composite a reliable photocatalyst and of various other uses. This composite catalyst was used for degrading the Methylene blue dye under sunlight.)

Study of compressive strength and split tensile strength of concrete by partial replacement of sand with GGBS.

( Growing environmental restrictions to the exploitation of sand from river beds leads to search for alternatives particularly near the larger metropolitan areas.Using GBFS as replacement of natural sand in concrete, an attempt is done to understand the variation in compressive strength of concrete with GBFS content. Along with that cost analysis is also done to suggest the most optimized percentage of GBFS to be used in various conditions. )

Organized an event in HORIZON- ”Surveylance” in IGIT.(2015) Organized and photographed the departmental event in ”ICMHMT” for NIT,Rourkela.
