Operating sewage treatment processing, and disposal equipment in wastewater treatment plant to control flow and processing of sewage: Monitoring control panels and adjusts valves and gates to regulate flow of sewage.

Observing variations in operating conditions and interpreting meter and gauge readings and tests results to determine load requirements.

Starting and stopping pumps, engines, and generators to control flow of raw sewage through filtering, settling, aeration processes.

Maintaining log of operations and records meter and gauge readings.

Supervising workers in performing routine operations.

Collecting sewage sample, using dipper or bottle to conduct laboratory tests, using testing equipment, such as colorimeter.
