ROLES & RESPONSIBILITY:
INSTRUMENT DELIVERABLES & WIRING:
Involving in P&ID review and provide inputs to Process & Piping team.
Preparation of Instrument Index using index module in SPI as per P&ID.
Preparation of I/O list, Instrument cable schedule and wiring drawings using SPI.
Preparation of Specifications like Instrument Design Basis, Instrument & Control Philosophy, Field Instruments & Valves specification, Modification Scope of works for Control Systems and Demolition Mark-Up Package.
Preparation of Instrument Datasheets such as Pressure instruments, Level instruments, Flow instruments and Temperature instruments using specification module in SPI and Ms-Excel.
Preparation of Valve Datasheets such as Shutdown valves, Control valves and Pressure safety valves etc. using specification module in SPI and Ms-Excel.
Preparation of datasheets for F&G detectors like combustible gas, toxic gas, flame detector, hydrogen gas, beacon, sounder & manual call point etc., Instrument cables & Junction boxes using specification module in SPI and Ms-Excel.
Preparation of deliverables for wiring such as Junction box wiring diagram, Panel interconnection diagram, Instrument Loop diagrams etc. using SPI.
Generating Foundation Field bus (FF) using enhanced smart loop.
Grouping of Junction boxes to the respective instruments and preparation of Junction box schedule.
Preparation of Instrumentation MTO, Demarcation drawings, Functional descriptions and related documents for purchasing as per the Specifications.
Preparation of Utility Consumption Summary list & Heat dissipation summary list.
Reviewing & Supporting for Instrument hook up diagram, Instrument cable block diagram, Instrument & JB location layout, Instruments cable tray & Trench routing layouts.

SIZING CALCULATION:
Orifice, Venturi and Flow nozzle sizing calculations as per ISO 5167.
Sizing & selection of Control valves as per ISA 75.01 and Pressure Safety valves as per API Standards along with vendor co-ordination.
Thermowell sizing as per ASME PTC 19.3-2011 and selection of thermocouple & RTD.
Selection of Inline and Online Flow Meters & Preparing guide lines for Installation requirement for Inline flow meters.
Selection of Pressure Transmitter, Pressure Switches, Pressure Gauges, Pressure Differential devices, Remote seal selection for DP type transmitters.
Selection of all kind of level transmitter such as DP, Radar, Ultrasonic, Displacer type level transmitter.
CONTROL SYSTEM:
Input to vendor in Designing of control system architecture.
I/O allocation to the control system cards.
Preparation and checking of I/O List by interpreting with P&ID.
Cross wiring between Marshalling Rack using SPI by interpreting I/O list.
Participating in Various Studies like SIL, F&G Mapping Study.
VENDOR & CLIENT COMMUNICATION:
Preparation of RFQ for the Instrumentation related items with required details.
Vendor quote review of Instrument items & Control system and Vendor document review.
Preparation of TBE sheet with all vendor technical details received for various instruments like Pressure gauge, Pressure transmitter, Instrument cables, Motor operated valve, Control Valve, Pressure safety valve, Shutdown valve, Instrument Junction Boxes etc and control system.
Technically suitable vendor selection for various instruments related to Projects.
Assisting in preparing PO supporting documents and issued to procurement department.
After PO, received vendor documents review and provide comments if any, for various instruments.
Vendor document submission to client and get approval for all instrumentation items.
Reviewing of operation and control Philosophy.
Technical support for plant instrumentation and construction works.
Involving in preparation of checklist for FAT/SAT/Loop check procedures that are required for field instruments, I/O modules, control panels and network.
Attending client meetings and Projects meetings to discuss the issues related to the Projects.
