WirelessCar was a global organization in the telematics industry. WirelessCar offered a technology independent network, back office infrastructure and billing services in a SaaS/Managed Care environment.

Managed the implementation of a multi-million dollar billing system in the U.S. and Europe, on time and within budget with a staff of five.

Responsible for all aspects of the billing service bureau line of business.

Responsible for vendor sourcing call center implementation and operations.

Sales Operations responsibilities: technical sales support, including pricing, term negotiation and RFP responses.

2000 - 2001 Flashcom Huntington Beach, CA

Director, Finance Operations

Flashcom, Inc. was a provider of DSL services to residential and small business customers in 48 metropolitan areas.

Reported to the CFO, assumed responsibility for critically flawed financial operations and a billing operations.

Developed and managed a strategy to quantify critical business metrics previously unknown, including customer base (~45,000) and monthly revenues ($4M).

Responsible for a staff of 65, both professional/management and line employees with call center responsibility.

Conceived and facilitated an effort to recover approximately $2M in earned unbilled revenue, including over

$720K in systematic backbilling. Further manual efforts resulted in the recovery of $269K.

Facilitated the development of a dispute resolution action plan enabling the company to maintain credit card processing privileges.

MediaOne was the third largest US cable company, providing entertainment, information and communication services to over five million customers. Southern California annual market revenues were in excess of $400M.

Managed IT and Revenue Assurance for the launch of services, including the billing and customer care systems, all peripheral systems, third party interfaces and vendor management.

Managed within the IT budget of $7M, with seven technical team members.

Developed requirements and functionality to bill for Carrier Access and Interconnect revenues, including invoice creation, tariff interpretation and accounting and reporting methodology.

AirTouch, presently Verizon Wireless, was an international wireless communications company. Served in multiple functions with increasing responsibility for the Los Angeles Market, an operating division with annual revenues in excess of $500 million, as well as Corporate Headquarters with National responsibility.
