Career Objective

As an ASE certified parts specialist and technician, with over 30 years’ experience both in the service industry and the parts industry, I seek a position that will allow me to demonstrate my work experience and pass on the knowledge that I have gained over the years. I am currently working on recertifying to be a Master Technician and look forward to opportunities where my skill set can be educational to others around me. While working in the automotive industry, I have exhibited the ability to handle conflict, cooperate and mentor others, and provide effective solutions to complex problems. WORK EXPERIENCE

Parts Sales Manager, Sept 2019- Present

Supervised a team of 10 employees and was responsible for evaluating staff performance, maintaining accurate inventory counts, and insuring a positive team morale. Provided consumer orientated service resulting in accurate part procurement and diagnosis. Maintained a cooperative and team-focused work environment, while completing various daily tasks and projects.

Automotive Industry (The Tune Shop), Denver, CO

Shop Owner, Licensed Emissions Repair Specialist, ASE Certified Technician, Aug 1986- Present

Responsible for requisition and procurement of parts, repairing vehicles and billing for all services provided. Maintained accurate records of all transactions and warranties. Repaired and replaced tools and shop equipment when needed. Inspected emissions on light duty vehicles and tested diesel emissions for air quality. Serviced vehicles both in the office and in the field while educating customers about the status of their vehicle and repair.
