Ensure that all mechanical systems are functioning properly, checking for and recording:
FAILURE indications on pump control panels
Any FAILURES or RED lights observed during mechanical room checks
Monitor alarm systems, sign in and out keys and audiovisual equipment to authorized personnel, admit staff and visitors to the building,
Check in and sign out deliveries, and answer the security office telephone.
When not conducting rounds or staffing the security office, remain at the admissions Desk to ensure that only permitted personal enter the premises
Understand the premise’s Emergency Action Plan and evacuation procedures and carry out emergency procedures as necessary.
Control crowds as required.
Secure the premise’s entrances at the end of operating hours.
Maintain a shift log in a professional manner.
