UJFM Campus Radio Station: Onair Traffic Coordinator (01 February 2020 to Current)
I am in sale and marketing department, dealing with clients that wants to advertise to the station, also helping in the reception desk (customer services),Handle administrative request and queries from station manager and sales and marketing manager, organizing and appointments, planning meeting and taking detailed minutes, maintain contact list, submit and reconcile sales financial report and also send out invoice request to UJ finance, act as the point of contact for internal and external clients, and also develop and maintain a filing system.
University of Johannesburg: Library assistant circulation desk (01 September 2019- 31 December 2019)
Assisting UJ students to check-out and Check-in books using Sierra system.
Mintek: HRD Intern (03 September 2018 – 30 August 2019)
Training and Development: I assisted in recruitment and selection of Mintek Bursars. I assisted in recruitment and selection of Mintek work integrated learning (WIL) and Internship students. I successfully coordinated Mintek in-house training (Presentations Skills Techniques). I was selected to be part of team to run Career exhibition at VUT. I have been selected to be part of the panel for interviews for trainees and internship students. I assisted in organising students’ team build session. I assisted in running program for trainee’s presentation session.
Employee Relations: I assisted in Disciplinary inquiry arrangements, Booking Chairperson; arrange Disciplinary Enquiry evidence packs and bookings, gathering relevant evidence. Arrange for Disciplinary Enquiry Preparation for Mintek Representative and witnesses. Take notes during the enquiry session.
Ensure that the recorder is working and record the whole enquiry session from start to end. Save the disciplinary pack on staff file under "Disciplinary Information" and enquiry recording on the IR shared drive. Transcriptions to be done for CCMA cases when required.
Complete the off-Boarding process and ensure that the letters are saved on SAP system on IR file and ensure employees terminated letter are delivered to the employee’s home address and signed for it.
Assist in the administration of unions; engage with union representative and I also processed the resignation of members from unions. Interpretation of policies and make reference to legislation of Mintek.
Organisational Development: Take minutes at HR meetings and send them to HR team timeously. Successfully coordinated corporate induction for new Mintek staff. Compiling employment offer letter and contracts. Processing employees’ probations.
HR Administration: I assisted in loading employment contract on system. Processing of payroll input (i.e. time and attendance, overtime, etc.). Leave administration, Filing system: do filing of employee new documents and also looking for files when they needed and doing file archives, Help employees to check their leave days on SAP, update employees clock in and clout times on BEST TIME, update employee beneficiary form on the system, help employee to print our medical aid reports, submit documents to Payroll for them to process employees payment.
