WORK EXPERIENCE

I am currently working as Attending Consultant at Artemis Hospital which is a JCI accredited, 600 bedded, Multispeciality private hospital in Gurgaon, Haryana. I am providing General and Regional Anaesthesia in Operation theatre for all types of Surgical cases ( Orthopaedic, ENT, Urology, Renal transplant, General Surgery, Laproscopic surgery, Opthalmology, Obstetric and Gynaecology) . I am also a core member of Liver Transplant Anaesthesia team and take care of perioperative Anaesthesia management of Liver Transplant cases. I have an experience of around 150 liver transplant cases ( LDLT / DDLT) till date. I also take care of pain management of both acute and chronic cases . I have experience of doing various Anaesthesia procedures ( central line, arterial line, pulmonary arterial catheter, Neuraxial and peripheral nerve blocks) via ultrasound and blind techniques

I am actively involved in taking lectures and training DNB (Anaesthesia) junior residents doctors in the same hospital .

In the past I also worked as senior medical officer in critical care unit in the same hospital

I also have 6 months experience of cardiac anaesthesia and cardiac ICU Fellowship in Liver Transplant and Gastrointestinal Anaesthesia I have pursued ICA recognised fellowship in Liver Transplant and Gastrointestinal Anaesthesia at one of the most prestigious hospital of Northern India, Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon, for a period of 2 years under guidance of renowned organ transplant Anaesthesiologist Dr Vijay Vohra.

Medanta is a 1500 bedded (JCI accredited multispeciality hospital run by renowned cardiothoracic surgeon Dr Naresh Trehan) Hospital which carry out around 300 Liver Transplant cases every year( Second maximum in Asia after Asan medical institute, korea).
