Since July 2008 to June 2013 as a “Camp Clerk /Asst. Camp Officer” – M/s. Transgulf Electro- mechanical LLC, Dubai (Saeed & Mohammed Al Naboodah Holdings) which an ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2007 certified MEP Contracting Company with the strength of more than 2000 employees.

Job Description:

Manage labour accommodation which involves cleaning, maintenance occupancy in the camp, safety & security and ensure discipline in the Camp.

Report workers staying in the camp/not reporting to duty on daily basis to HR along with the valid reason on each case.

Assigning duties to Camp Security, watchman/ gate keeper, ward boys, cooks etc. on daily basis.

Handles transportation from camp to site (back & forth) as per different site timings or according to directives from site or head office. Coordinate with HR & Sites for labour transfer or movement from-to different sites and arrange transport for emergency cases.

Coordinates between site & catering services on head count attendance. Quality/Quantity of the food as per service agreement terms and conditions and the approved menu. Arrange the delivery of the food to the sites on time. Maintain the hygienic cleanliness of the kitchen

& dining areas and food (hot & cold) storage areas.

Handle allocation of rooms for new coming workers. Keeping updated records of all labours staying in accommodation.

Spooling the suggestions/complaints raised by the camp residents. Try and sort out if within the scope or project/follow up the problem with the management if required

Dealing with respective vendors for supply of materials i.e. certified potable water, sewage clearance, cot, blankets, pillows, beds sheets, mattress and also Safety/PPE items i.e. safety shoe, helmet, coverall, etc. housekeeping cleaning materials etc.

Responsible for the clearance of sewerage water from septic tanks and garbage disposals.

Handle immediate first aid and inform doctor in case of emergency.

Monitored HSE issues in the camps, resulting in almost accident free records and took precautions on health issues of employees.

Maintained all the facilities of the camps in close co-ordination with the maintenance department, promptly attending to repair damages and breakdowns.

Monitored the cleanliness of the camps as per Municipality regulations.

Created a cordial atmosphere in camps by involving employees in sports and extra cultural activities.

Resolved camp inmates’ grievances under guidance from the Management.

Maintained proper records of inventory of Company assets in the camps, maintenance activities undertaken, camps roster and inmate’s sickness records.
