I graduated my Bachelor of Social Work degree at the North West University
(Mafikeng Campus) and I am currently registered with the South African Council for Social Services Professions.
With 6 years experience in the social work and wellness field, my career journey has given me the ability to independently conduct assessments and provide intervention to a wide variety of individuals from various socio-economic, cultural, ethnic, educa- tional and other diversified backgrounds. My work experience has given me the op- portunity of working in a highly pressurized environment and dealing successfully with vulnerable people in difficult circumstances. During my employment at FAMSA, the Department of Social Development and Varsi- ty College, I have been able to integrate advanced range of social work methods in my everyday practice. I have I largely worked with statutory cases and also conduct- ed individual, group and family counseling as well as community advocacy and de- velopment. Extensive planning has also been an integral part of my role, as my work experience involves the successful management of a demanding caseload that has included over and above vulnerable children in need of care and protection. I am cur- rently running and own a fashion company which focuses on tailor made couture garments. Running and managing this company had equipped me with immense planing, administrative and management skills over and above persistence and re- silience.
I possess excellent computer skills and good written and communication skills. I have also acquired an astonishing drive and work ethic.
