I am writing in response to your Instagram post looking for a Sr Graphic Designer. I was thrilled to have my friend send me this post. Not only do I think I would make a perfect fit for your company but I am also a fan of your clothing line and have been for a long time! I am wearing my Plain Trees and High Seas shirt while I’m writing this cover letter. No joke.

I was born and raised here in the South Bay and currently live in Redondo Beach. Skate, surf and outdoor culture is my natural habitat. It’s what I live in. I would love to contribute my talents to your company to help better your brand in any way that I can. I have worked on projects for Netflix, Nike, AT&T, Kevin Hart’s comedy app, Honda and Acura in recent years . I’ve worked on everything from websites, to apps, to branding, to full ad/social campaigns.

Hiring someone who has a full understanding of your brand aesthetic is a key factor. Who better for this role than someone who has been wearing your gear for years and is a local guy who understands the culture? I have a good eye for type, layout, color, photo editing etc, and I love outdoor and surf photography. I have a STRONG interest in creating shirt graphics and apparel design.
