MILITARY EXPERIENCE

United States Marine Corps Camp Pendleton, CA 09/1992-1996

●Marine Corps Security Forces Japan, corporal or the guard for naval ordnance facility. Trained in leadership, weapons handling, terrorism, anti-tank and demolition, battlefield tactics, extensive training with various military weapons, I was responsible for overall security of two thirty plus acre weapons units. Writing procedures for perimeter security, weapons handling, react situation and Hazmat training. I managed two eight men security teams that worked daily with Japanese ordinance workers. Twice Marine of the Quarter, multiple Letters of Accommodation.

●1st battalion 5th Marines Armory insured the daily operation in battalion’s armory, issued weapons to each company, cleaned, wrote purchase and repair order, handled light weapons up to heavy machine guns, anti-tank, and motors. Rifle expert badge, pistol expert badge, national defense service medal, overseas ribbon, good conduct medal and certificate of commendation.

●Squad Leader for Dragons Platoon Weapons Company, daily leadership and training for Twenty-Five Marines, Completed Marine Corps Leadership Coarse, head of search and rescue team, scout climber, high angle rescue and emergency response, detachment leader a JTF (Joint Task Force) mission with the DEA, and Border patrol at Southern California and Mexico border.
