In The Field Of Piping Inspection:

Conduct inspection of raw materials, bought out items and review of Material Test Certificates (MTC) and the specification requirements.

Performing visual inspection of piping installation including:

Review Plan Diagram, P&ID, Isometric Drawing and Weld Map Drawing.

Verifying piping material identity (pipe, valves and fittings) and its conformance to the installation drawings.

Inspect all installed support according to support detail drawing.

Verifying that welding inspection has been performed and joints have been released.

In-process surveillance to verify compliance with specified piping erection procedure including flange alignments, torquing, cleanliness etc.

Performing piping walk down (line walk) inspection and completing punch lists. Verifying that punch list items have been dealt with in accordance with the contractual arrangements.

Reviewing and verifying completeness of piping test packages (hydro or pneumatic) prior to testing.

Reviewing welding summary and NDT report.

Witnessing final piping (hydro, pneumatic, service & visual) tests.

Preparation of documents required for inspection like RFI, pressure test report, cleaning report, bolt torque & re-instatement report, according to the ITP, applicable codes and standards.

Completing and endorsing all inspection records from initial inspection till final acceptance of the piping systems.

Maintaining interface with the Client to ensure that all contractual and code requirements are met as far as the inspection scope is concerned.

In The Field Of Piping Work:

Supervising the fabrication, erection, quality, inspection and testing of AG/UG process piping of various classes and grades; studying and executing isometrics.

Developing plans for the progress and control measurements of the company.

Executing and supervising the team of contractors; reviewing and commenting on the procedure of work as submitted by the contractors.

Responsible for implementing various standards & codes and project specific requirement for Specialty Items.

Reviewing P & ID’s, Plot Plan & ISO drawings, Weld Map Drawing, layouts, diagrams, and technical specifications.

Steering all other Piping works pertaining to Spool Erection, Line Supporting, ISO Clearance, Hydro Testing.

Preparing As-Built Drawing as par site modification.

Responsible for closing the punch List/ QC comment prior to close pressure test packs.

Liaising with the Engineering and Design Dept. for discrepancies in piping isometrics and site with respect to P&ID.

Ensuring conformance of work with quality, safety, health and environment requirements and interacting with the contractor(s) to take corrective action in case of any problem.
