Maryland Total Human services Integrated NetworK (MD THINK) is a technological endeavor in the state of Maryland (MD) which was initiated with federal approval to modernize and integrate multiple MD State health and human services that are targeted towards the most vulnerable citizens of MD. The project is hosted by the Department of Human Services (DHS) and is founded on the notion of a shared technological platform for various web-based and mobile technology systems that enable access to MD’s health and human service programs. An integration of technology systems catering to various health and human services within the state and a common data repository across the systems will enable the state to achieve cost reduction, utilize modern technology, and reduce time of delivery.

Description: Credit Suisse (CS) entered into an agreement to purchase from Fortis Bank Nederland (FBN) its Prime Fund Solutions (PFS) business, a global leader in hedge fund administration services. The high-level business and IT strategy is to fully integrate PFS into CS applications, processes, and shared services infrastructure at the back end.

DAL (Detailed Account Ledger) stores data for all accounting events. It acts as the central Repository for where all accounting enrichment and processes are applied to Accounting Events. After all accounting processes have been applied to transactions, DAL generates the summary accounting journals which are subsequently posted to the down streams like PeopleSoft, Star, PCDW, Spectral etc.,

Spectral is one such downstream application which was maintained separately. SPEL (Spectral Elimination) is a project designed to remove the overhead maintenance and to include the full functionality in DAL
