Trillium Professional Services at Cone Health System Greensboro, NC

Fast tracked successful implementation of Vocera, a communication platform on which Cone Health users will access via hands-free wireless communication device.

oApproximately 1,176 staff use Vocera on 167 Smartbadges and 44 iPhones.

Organized infrastructure remediation for phase two of Vocera roll out to second campus.

Transitioned to PM from outgoing colleague and smoothly managed Alaris Pump Interoperability integration at all campuses of the Cone Health System.

oThis system is expected to eliminate manual programming, reduce the risk of error, and improve compliance with documentation of infusion data which will improve patient safety and increase nurse efficiency.

oThroughout the in-scope departments systemwide, approximately 2,000 nurses use Interoperability on 1,453 PCUs and 2,337 modules/channels.

oSix months after implementation, on average Cone Health was able to bill almost 10,000 more units of saline and charges overall were up almost $1 million.

Lead $2.3 million, multi-year project to bring health system into compliance with NC state law (HB 243 “STOP Act”) to provide electronic prescribing of controlled substances (EPCS).
