Responsible for installation, Pre-commissioning & commissioning activities of 1200 items for (static & rotating) equipments.

Review erection lifting plan, internal drawings for commissioning & maintenance spare parts.

Conduct inspection on all vessels and column internal attachments e.g. support plates, cleats, nozzles, beams and support grids, and ensure that orientations are correct as per approved drawing.

Verify that all equipments are installed correctly, supports are adequate and secured, exterior equipment such as ladders and platforms are secured, insulation installed as required, flanged and other mechanical connections are properly assembled, vessel is clean and dry, and without damage.

Inspect and witness catalyst loading of Gas Driers & Reactors and prepare QA/QC documents as per ITP.

Installation/Inspection of new internals, Trays, Random packing, structured packing into 275 new columns AND vessels of one, two & four pass valve Trays, new Multi down comer trays, Support rings/bars, Chimney trays and Distributor pipes.

Check on Hardware supply shortages and Modification work done to trays in all columns with Internals supplied by vendor (SULZER). Responsible for producing, and all required Internals Inspection documents including Tray Level, Tray Installation Inspection, Leak Test of chimney tray, Distributor Inspection, Internal Man way Box up, Packed Bed Inspection, Demisters Inspection, Swirl deck, Chimney Tray Inspection, Tray Support Ring Level, Tray Support Ring Spacing Reports etc.

Involved in Refractory jobs for Thermal oxidizer, Reaction Chamber Sulpher condenser, and Regen gas Heater etc.

Conducts inspection before, during and after the installation of vessel internals to ensure the cleanliness, preservation, tightness and levelness of these internals.

Prepares hydrostatic test packages and witness the tests for pipelines, plant piping and valves.

Manage Day to day solution for problems raised to sub-contractors with Documentation of Technical assurance alert (TAA) & Non Conformance report (NCR’s) etc.
