Provided weekly office hours and assisted students in leaning the fundamentals of statics and dynamics in a safe and proactive learning environment
Function as liaison between the professor and students taking Mechanics I by providing constant feedback to professor on areas where students were struggling in
Responsible for providing feedback to professor to improve student’s preparation for midterm and exams
Grade and return midterms in a timely manner and resolve any disputes in marking
APPLIED PROJECTS
Team Member September 2019-Current
Gas Turbine Capstone Project
Solely responsible for dynamically modeling of Main Heat Exchanger in gas turbine and developed dynamic models of systems using Matlab and Simulink
Work in a team environment to simulate dynamics models of various components of a 250 kW and 10 MW gas turbine
Documented progress through various progress reports throughout out the term
Produced fall semester design report outlining how component was simulated, verification test cases, and parametric and sensitivity test plan
Presented technical work of the semester to lead engineers as well as guests from Natural Resources Canada as well as nontechnical audience
Team Leader September 2018-December 2018
Engineering Design Project
Took responsibility as team leader and guided team in completing deliverables within allocated budget and deadline
Designed a working Shaft Drive for an off-road Motorcycle by considering designs constraints of several mechanical component such as gear sizes and shaft dimensions
Worked in a team environment, where an organized timeline was created to ensure enough time was allocated designing, 3D printing, testing, and report development
Learned the important factors of design such as time, cost of design, weight, and speed to create a realistic and efficient machine
Create a report that outlines the justifications behind the design of the system, as well as explaining the manufacturing processes behind the design
Team Member January 2017 –April 2017
Four Linkage Clamping Device
Worked with team to design a closed loop mechanism with four rigid link which had to hold aloft 200 grams of paper for 10 seconds.
Collaborated with team members to provide project proposals, conceptual sketches, proof of concept models and ABS Working Prototype
Design clamping mechanism using AutoCAD and Creo, producing informative and clear engineering drawing
Presented design in a concise and descriptive report such that readers easily understood design and how it worke
