DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

1.Conduct HSE inspection to ensure that health & safety standards are being complied with by Project team & all subcontractors.

2.To ensure that Safety induction & tool box talk meeting conducted on regular bases for all workers, staff, visitors & subcontractors & keep the record as per legal requirement.

3.Communication & coordination with project / site engineers on day to day operations to ensure HSE policy / standard are being complied.

4.Arranging & coordinates weekly Safety meeting with site safety officers, subcontractors, & project staff.

5.Preparation & filing of all HSE related reports such as Monthly, Weekly safety report, NCR’s / Site safety inspection reports by consultants/ authorities, closeout reporting, Accident / near miss Investigation reporting etc.

6.Investigate accident /incident, near miss accident & advise to the project manager for necessary corrective /preventive action to avoid re occurrence.

7.Responsible for implementation & Monitoring of PTW System on site

8.Responsible to ensure that all access/egress, emergency Exit, walkways leading to the assembly point are clear, lighted, marked with signage and free from any obstacle all the time.

9.Responsible to ensure that all Lifting devices, machinery, equipment and their operator are tested and certified by DM Approved 3rd party & all certificates and licenses filed & available all time on site.

10.To make sure that all power tools are as per standards & color code system implemented

11.Marshal to conduct fire and emergency mock drill as well as train & lead the ERT to ensure that the people working on project are full aware the procedure in case of any unexpected situation.

12.Inspection of scaffolding, ladders, platforms, etc; to ensure correct erection & safety

13.Supervising Weekly / monthly safety meetings with all supervisors & subcontractors

& Maintain the record of all the training & attendees for audit purpose & legal requirements

14.Identify and communicate Personal Protective Equipment requirements and train the employees to ensure that the PPE requirements are properly implemented and enforced.

15.Monitoring and controlling of Environmental issues such as Air Pollution, Hazardous Waste Management, Noise, etc. and recommending control measures to the concerns.

16.Supervises the regular inspection of Firefighting, Safety and Emergency response equipment.

17.Investigating reporting & Reviewing all the Incidents and accidents involving personnel, plant and equipment including dangerous occurrences & make recommendation for remedial action to avoid reoccurrence.

18.Monitoring critical activities like Crane Operations, Excavation works, confined space activities, work at height, Hoist operations & loading offloading, Vehicles movement etc., to ensure Safety.

19.Support to HSE Team to investigate incident/accidents & represent company on all HSE meetings with the consultant/ client / authorities.

20.To ensure that Welfare facilities like, rest areas, mess room, mosque, toilets, food storage room and other site facilities are as per standard and safe to use to fulfill legal requirements

21.To ensure that all safety related signage’s, posters and indicators, warning lights are properly fixed/ display on site
