1.Property Maintenance

-General upkeep and maintenance of the building – minor carpet repairs, wall patching, flooring and wall tile repair, door repairs (hinges, pivot, door handle and door closures), maintenance shop supplies and tool inventory, maintenance shop and vacant space cleanliness.

- Develop inventory system and track inventory of parts, supplies and small tools

- Respond to on–call request for service for all ARC facilities as required.

- Execute all work in a safe and professional manner and in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Legislation guidelines

- Conducts moderate troubleshooting of building systems and in collaboration with Central Services Manager, calls in other professionals when required

- Ensures supplies are received, stored, and redistributed to the appropriate departments

- Participates in the hiring, orientating, training, evaluating, recognizing, and recommendation of disciplinary actions including termination in concert with ARC Policies & Procedures

- Maintain a clean and safe workplace

- Assist in performing inspections and repairs to equipment. Ensure safety of equipment and be prepared to teach staff safety precautions for equipment handling.

- Identifies and monitors to ensure compliance with established maintenance schedules and to ensure OH&S standards are followed.

- Assists with the development, review, implementation and monitoring of policies and procedures for Maintenance Services.

- Assists with the planning and development of the Maintenance Services budget and assists with monitoring compliance

Adapts work practices within specific parameters to ensure the efficient delivery of Maintenance services.
