- I was also instructed to maintain up to 20 disbursement baskets a day. If we needed to restock on the supplies we filled the disbursement baskets with, I was responsible for ordering the correct amount of supplies to last us at least a week. Once I had a rhythm and pattern on how I worked and how much I could handle, I got more job duties as an individual.

- I got handled the Enterprise (EHI) billing; which had to be completed once a week.

- Processing the ISO reports, which are reports the attorney’s run to see if the client has had any other claims in the past; these requests came in daily.

- Handle maintenance for two of our San Antonio Offices, both interior and exterior. I would be the one to contact so I can call the company’s we have contracts with and come take care of the issue.

- I also had access to the New Hire email, which notified me how many new hires we had for the week and the individual’s information. I was to email each employee individually with some helpful information about the firm. If the New Hires were Attorneys, I was to order them business cards and provide them with a swipe card for the building they were assigned to.

- I was also in charge of the courier’s schedule. I would prepare their schedule the day before so they can have their client appointments ready for the following day.

- After getting trained in every duty in the business office, I was assigned to complete all San Antonio Breakdowns for the firm. A breakdown is the final step we take before we disburse the client and close the case. The breakdown includes all the expenses, liens, auto rentals, partial disbursements, client advances, and medical providers that pertained to the client’s case. After all of the expenses have been deducted from the recovery the breakdown will also show the total net to client. We have different reports that shows us all the expenses we need to charge the client. The team is required to turn in the breakdown, and we will review it, to make sure no expenses or recoveries were missed by the team.

- I also have conducted a mandatory all day firm wide training. The training is for all new hires and any employees that need a refresher of all procedures. At Thomas J Henry Injury attorneys procedures changed all the time, and sometimes employees would not know of any changes that were made. My trainings are to help them with any confusion and go over all procedures, the second part of my training was on how to complete a Breakdown. For the Austin and Corpus Christi location I would only do it once a month, and for San Antonio I would do it every week on Tuesdays.
