7.Lead and provide guidance in implementing site emergency response program with leadership team in a way to avoid OR minimize the injuries and damages at plant / site.

8.Adherence to all Statutory requirements related to fire, safety and environment.

9.Produce EHS Alerts / Bulletins arising from significant events within the Business Unit for onward distribution within the plant and share best practice with other Business Units

10.Development of sustainability requirements for projects, including requirements for inclusion in project execution plans

11.Develop Environmental Compliance Plans, Construction Environmental Control Plans (CECP), project specific mitigation plans, environmental awareness training programs, and technical reports.

12.Provide the budget allocation for safety activities.

13.Supports the creation of a work environment that fosters openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and satisfaction.

14.Proactively monitor the lead and lag metrics to ensure highest standards of safety and Carrying out contractor safety assessment.

15.To carry out site fire & safety inspections in order to observe the physical conditions of work and the work practices and procedures followed by workers.

16.Check and evaluate the effectiveness of action taken or proposed to be taken to prevent fire & safety incidents at work site.

17.Conducting award and recognition program for the workers / Employees.

Ensure the implementation of a Plant EHS Management Plan and monitor its effectiveness.

Monitor and collate monthly reporting of site EHS activities.

Undertake with plant management, initial & detailed accident & incident investigations in a timely manner to ultimately identify the ‘root cause’ and disseminate corrective actions.
