Prepared specifications for various projects, vehicles, and other equipment, and monitored projects to ensure that they were completed in accordance to the specifications, and in a timely fashion, and within the budget.
I have set up the control systems and operated boilers ranging from
3600 psi supercritical once-thru pulverized coal-fired steam generators,
to 30 psi gas-fired package boilers. I’ve operated spreader stokers, chain grate boilers as well as gas/oil, waste fuel units. I have had a 3rd Class Stationary Engineer’s License since 1972, and also have a 2nd Class National Power Engineer’s License.
I have also conducted operator training classes at various industrial facilities, as well as hospitals and schools. I have worked at CEI as the Start-up Engineer for their Avon Unit #9 boiler, and their Eastlake #5 boiler. I also worked at Detroit Edison Monroe Power Plant as the Start-up Engineer for Units One and Three. I would be happy to discuss with you all the other boiler start-up and operating experience that applies if you would choose to do so.
