• Primary research using a mixed-method community based participatory approach to assess knowledge and risk perception of chronic kidney disease among African American church members.

• Funded by The National Institute of Health

• The research was presented at the Mixed Method International Research Association Conference in Trinidad, WI, and The International Collaboration for Participatory Health Research global network (ICPHR) in Baltimore, MD.
